Cino’s Hot Bagels in Oceanside has been proudly serving the community since 2010, but our roots in the bagel business go back much further.
It all started in 1995 when Joe Sr. opened the family’s first bagel shop, bringing with him a passion for baking and a love for quality, made-from-scratch bagels. Following in his father’s footsteps, Joe Jr. joined the family business right after graduating high school, and together they opened Cino’s in the heart of Oceanside.
As a family-run shop, we’re proud to be a beloved local spot where friendly faces, fresh bagels, and a welcoming atmosphere go hand in hand. Whether you're stopping by for your morning coffee and a hot everything bagel or picking up a dozen for the office, we’re here to make your day a little better—one bagel at a time.

The Cino's Difference
Our bagels are made the New York way—boiled in water, then baked to golden perfection. No shortcuts. No gimmicks. Just real-deal bagels made with tradition and care.
Rolled
The dough is shaped to achieve that classic bagel form—crusty on the outside, perfectly chewy inside. It’s the texture you only get from doing things the right way.
Kettle-Cooked
The rolled bagels are then briefly boiled in hot water—often with a touch of barley malt or baking soda. This "kettle cook" step is key: it creates the bagel’s shiny crust and chewy texture.
Baked
Finally, the bagels are baked until golden brown. The result? A crisp exterior, a soft-yet-chewy interior, and the perfect New York-style bagel. We'll have you coming back!
